In English, we will be reading the class text 'Street Child' by Berlie Doherty and basing most of our English work around this story. We will write character descriptions, diary entries in role as the characters, newspaper articles about events within the story and our own versions of parts of the story. As well as this, we will be writing information texts about life in the Victorian era and biographies about key figures such as Dr. Barnardo.
